                                          Why Thanksgiving Is Important

Lots of families get to spend Thanksgiving together. It is so fun to spend time with family you don't get to see that often. We get to have a big feast and we get to celebrate all day. I think Thanksgiving is important because we get to spend time with family, we give thanks to God, and traditions are passed down.

Spending time with family is so important because you get to have fun and play games. You also might get to know your family better. Also, your family is important to your life. They have been there since you were born and we need to appreciate them more. Thanksgiving is a time to love our family more than we already do.

Thanksgiving is also a time to give thanks to God for all the things we have. God has given us so much. Sometimes we need to just stop and say thank you. Praising God is very important in our lives. He loves and cares for us. Lots of people just take one day a week to worship him, but on that day we need to thank him for all we have, which is a lot

Thanksgiving is so fun because you get to learn about your family's past. There are so many traditions passed down from generation to generation. I'm always excited for the recipes. It is so fun learning how to make all sorts of food that my great great great grandmother could have made. It's also like looking back on when the Pilgrims had the first Thanksgiving with the Native Americans. It's amazing to think that about how 400 years ago the Pilgrims and Native Americans who were not that sure about each other  became friends.

Thanksgiving is a very important holiday because we get to spend time with family, thank God, and learn new traditions. It is very important to celebrate with any family even if it's just your mom or dad. It is a time for love and comfort. You don't have to make a big feast; it is just about thanking God for what you have.
