                                    Snorkeling in the Bahamas

I walked down the ladder feeling the cold water on my feet and the warm sun on my face. I saw the bright bumby coral and the white rippled sand. The crystal blue water shined brightly with the colorful fish swimming in it. As I jumped into the water, I felt cold, wet, excited, and a little bit nervous. Heard talking in the distance, I tasted and smelled the clear salt water and saw the deep drop offs of the ocean and the sparkling shallows.  When I dove down by the coral, I felt lively, perfect, proud, and glorious. I heard soft voices, silence, and splashing flippers. I tasted the bitter bubbly water and saw lavender colored fish and slimy slithery seaweed. There was crumbly crooked coral, rough rigid rocks, and shiny sparkling sea shells. Reaching the surface, I could smell the bitter salty air along with the fragrant scent of my sunscreen.

Returning to the boat, I ascended up the slippery ladder, rejoicing when the fuzzy towel embraced my damp skin. I heard the muffled voices of the people around me as I a soothing fruit drink touched my dry lips and slip down my parched throat. I saw animals, glistening glossy water, and a warm bright sun. When the boat was going across the shimmering sea, I saw wisping waves crashing into each other and felt the wind blow against my skin. That night as I laid down in my soft, cozy bed, I thought that was one of my best experiences in my life.
