St. Mary Speech

 

Hello, my name is St. Mary. I am the mother of Jesus. I was born on September 8, 14 B.C. in a town in Nazareth that is called Gallei. My parents are St. Anne and St. Joachim. When I was three years old, my parents took me to be presented at the temple. I climbed up all the steps and the priest said, “The Lord has magnified your name to all generations.”  When I was 14 years old, an angel came to me and said, “For God has been gracious to you. You shall conceive and give birth to a son and he shall be called Jesus.” I followed Jesus by staying with the disciples and the women who followed Jesus on his travels. When Jesus had died, I felt heart broken. At the third hour when Jesus died, I took his body from the cross and held him the last time. When I was dying, I laid in a narrow bed surrounded by disciples. I died on August 15, 41 A.D. My feast days are on January 1, August 15, and December 8. I am the patron saint of all humanity.
