My Own Thanksgiving
Everyone likes Thanksgiving. I am going to write about my Thanksgiving last year. My family always does Thanksgiving and Christmas together so we call it Thanksmas. My mom’s side of the family all comes together and we eat food and give out presents. Some of the foods we ate were green bean casserole, turkey with stuffing, and cranberry sauce . Other fun things we did were going to the playground and we played in the backyard.
Some of the family members that come over are my two aunts, my uncle,my cousin, and my grandpa and grandma. Whenever they come over, I challenge my grandpa to a game of dominoes. Then when my cousin, Addison, arrives, we played whatever game we made up. Then my aunt took Addison, my sister Ella, and me to the playground while my other sister, Maddie, stayed home.
We also opened presents and ate food. I got a makeup holder, a chapstick, Q tips, and cherry soap. Isaac, my little brother, got a Thomas the Train Lego duplo set. We (as in Ella, Maddie, Addison, and me) also got pjs. After we got them on, we played a spy game and we spied on the adults. Sadly, after that we had to go to bed and Thanksmas was over.
