Saint Clare
Hello, my name is Saint Clare of Assisi. I was born on August 11, 1194, into a wealthy family. During my early life, I was friends with Saint Francis.
I followed Jesus by joining St.Francis and making my own group of Catholic people. When I joined, I was given some cloth for clothes and a rope for a belt. My people and I lived according to the rule of Francis. We also ate donated food because we had no money.
There is one miracle attributed to me. On one Christmas night, I was homesick and my family went to the Christmas mass. I was in my bed when I could hear and see the mass going on like I was actually there.
I died in the year 1235 because I was very sick. I became a saint on September 26th in the year 1255. My feast day is August 11, and
I am the patron saint of television.
