Florida has a subtropical humid climate making it very hot all year round providing pretty flowers and palm trees. Florida has uplands, plains, lakes, and rivers that make up all three land regions. With Florida's pretty lakes and rivers it is paradise waiting for you to visit.

One can find Florida in the southeast region of the us.To the north of Florida is Alabama and Georgia. West of Florida is the gulf and east of Florida is the Atlantic Ocean. Florida covers 58,599 square miles. The state is bigger than half of the other states ranking twenty-second in size.

Florida is a subtropical humid environment. Florida's highest temperature ever recorded was 109℉. The lowest temperature ever was -19℉. The average high for Miami in July is 82℉. The average temperature in January in Miami is 68℉ . The yearly rainfall is around 137cm. Florida is mostly hot and humid with mild winters and summers. Even if you are there in January, February, or March, it is mostly warm.

The Florida Uplands covers the most eastern part of Florida stretching 275 miles with 30,000 lakes spread throughout the region. Lake okeechobee is the biggest lake in the uplands.

The next region is the North Gulf Coastal Plain which is split into two parts. This Region. The cavernes in the gulf allow people to see how Florida is made. Water drips on the limestone and makes stalactites. When stalactites and stalagmites touch they make pillars over time.

When one considers the magnificent tropic climate and beautiful lakes, it is clear that Florida is an amazing place to visit. People come to Florida often because it is beautiful. Most people don't just visit one time they visit multiple times. “Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.”
