Hello my name is Saint Felicity.  I was born in the year 101. During my early life I was arrested for being a Christian. My father was a pagan and my mother was a Christian. I was a slave woman for saint Perpeuta and was not born into a wealthy family. I followed Jesus by serving God and was more willing to die than to give up my relationship with God. I was put in prison because I was a Christian. While I was in prison, I was 8 months pregnant in the dark while suffocating with heat.

 

I was very afraid because it was against the law for a pregnant woman to be executed. However, two days before the execution I went into a painful labor and the guards made fun of me. My daughter was adopted by a Christian woman. 

 

I was killed by being stabbed with a sword in front of a crowd of people. I became a saint in the year 203.  My feast day is March 7. I am the patron saint of mothers, expectant mothers, ranchers, and butchers.
