Hello, my name is St.Nicholas. I was born in the year 280 in Patara, Lycia which is now Turkey. My parents were Catholic and when they died, I inherited great wealth. As a young boy, I enjoyed going to mass then playing. When I inherited my great wealth, I promised to help people and strengthen people's relationship with God. A man was too poor to pay for his three daughters’ marriage, and I gave some money so he could pay by putting coins in a sack and tossing it through the window. I told him to to keep my generosity a secret. I followed Jesus by fasting on feast days. I vowed to always help people any way I could. I got beat for my beliefs. I become the youngest bishop in history. This happened because the Lord told the priests of Myra to name the next person who came by with the name of Nicholas the new bishop. There are around twenty miracles attributed to me. One of the miracles was when I was tormented again by Emperor Constantine, an image of Mary and baby Jesus appeared in the sky. Another miracle that I am responsible for  happened when I was a baby. When I was taking a bath, I stood up and prayed to God. I died in the year 350 in the month of December when I prayed and angels appeared to take my soul into heaven. I became a saint so long ago no one remembers the exact date. My feast day is December 6, and I am the patron saint of Greece, Sicily, Rusia, bakers, brides, children, merchants, travelers, and sailors.
