                         Saint Report

Hello, I am Saint Tigernach. I was born at the start of the 6th century. My mother was Der Fraich, the daughter of King Eochu, and my father was Coirpre, one of the kings fellow soldiers. Soon after I was born, I was brought to Leinster, a province in southeast Ireland. I was baptized by St. Brigit, and I was named Tigernach by the virgin Mary through St. Brigit.  When I was a boy, I was captured by pirates and brought to Britain.However/I was let go when it was discovered God was working through me. I became a Priest and travelled to Rome to get relics of Saint Peter and Paul. God’s arc angel spoke to me in my dreams. I performed many miracles including raising people from the dead, and I stopped battles from happening so people could live in peace. I founded two monasteries, Clones and Cahoon. I became the bishop of Clogher and lived in Clones for thirty years. Sadly I died from the Plague. My feast day is April 4. I am the patron Saint of Cluain Eois, Co. Monaghan Ireland.
