The coronavirus is something no one is celebrating. We are all stuck at home and bored. Sometimes it takes some thinking to become happy and playful. My neighborhood has taken it to the next level. We have done so many things to let the families in our neighborhood still have fun. I want to talk about how my neighborhood is dealing with this illness.

The first thing I want to talk about is seeing our neighbors. I have many neighbors and we all are taking precaution, but seeing each other in creative ways. I will get to see some of their children who are my best friends. Some of my best friends even have children of their own! I love visiting them all! I will bring them cookies or a fun little craft, or even go over there to pick up leftovers. All of my neighbors are so nice, and I am so glad I still get to see them.

The second thing that is on my mind is the activities that are available for kids. We have had an Easter egg hunt with paper eggs, a bear hunt, and many others. But the main thing I have been doing was here before all of this happened. In 2018, my little brother passed away. We have a little library made by one of our neighbors in memory of him. You can just walk up to the little library, check out a couple of books, and bring them back soon. I love what my neighborhood has done for kids.

The final thing I am thinking about is what the neighborhood has done for adults. In the library, there are also adult books. But one thing we have done has really touched my heart. The same neighbor who built Levi’s Library asked her church Priest to come to our neighborhood and do a preaching. We sang and read bible verses. My neighborhood has many family fun filled opportunities.

All these things describe my neighborhood right now. The reason I wanted to tell you this is so you can try some of these things yourself. All it takes is a little love and effort. Whether you are the kind of person who is going to build a library or just have a scavenger hunt. Our life is filled with precious moments. It just depends on how we remember them.
