Hello, my name is Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I was born on August 26, 1910 in Skopje, North Macedonia. My birth name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu.

During my early life I received communion when I was 5. My father died when I was 8 years old. My mother influenced me by telling me missionary stories. My religious life was assisted by the Jesuit Parish of the Sacred Heart, and many others. I was very involved as a youth.

When I was 18, I left to go to the Institute of Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1929, I went to Calcutta for the first time to teach at St. Mary's school for girls. Eventually, I became the school's principal. I got the name Mother Teresa from saying my profession of vows.

I followed Jesus by Serving the poorest of the poor. I am also the founder of the Contemplative Branch for Sisters, Contemplative brothers, and many other charities.

There are two miracles attributed to me. One of those miracles was healing

a Brazilian man who had many tumors. The other is I healed an Indian woman who had many tumors in her abdomen

I died on September 5, 1997, at the age of 87. I died of old age.

I became a saint on September 4, 2016 by Pope Francis. My feast day is September 5.

I am the patron saint of World Youth Day.
