My own Thanksgiving

Mmm, what’s that amazing smell. Oh right, my mom’s probably making green bean casserole because today is Thanksgiving. I jump out of bed and I walk down stairs. Wow!!! I see my mom has also made a red velvet cake. I go to the pantry and get some cereal and eat it all. Then my mom tells me to go get ready so I go back up stairs and put my hair in a low ponytail and I put on some black leggings with a fall shirt. Then I put my white socks and white Converse on. After that, I go to brush my teeth and walk down stairs, I put my dogs leash on and walk out the door to put her in the car, and then I come back inside to help my parents bring the food out to the car.

Then we drive to my grandparents’ house!! Yay!! When we get there we unload and walk inside. It smells like hot turkey and hot soup. I know the turkey is a usual thing but soup is not. We like to eat the soup because it is Korean soup that my grandmother makes; it’s so good. But before we eat anything we wait for my very slow aunt and cousin to get here. Then after a while they arrive and we can eat. I go over to make a plate of soup, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, and lastly some water. I go to sit down and eat. While my family eats we talk about what we did this morning or anything happening at dance. A short minute later we eat dessert, and my cousin and I hurry so we can go play outside or inside. A few hours later we have to go home and have a nice warm sleep and know that Thanksgiving will come next year. Sorry turkeys!
